Project Description:  The 23,000-square-foot Lockheed Martin Space Operations Simulation Center (SOSC) Systems is a development, simulation, and test facility for N.A.S.A.

Scope of Work:  TMCx provided third-party commissioning services to complete Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning as outlined in USGBC’s LEED requirements. TMCx verified that fundamental building systems and assemblies were performing as intended to meet current needs and sustainability requirements. TMCx’s final report focused on lessons learned from this project in an attempt to allow Lockheed Martin to avoid similar issues on future projects. TMCx conducted reviews of design documents, OPR, and BOD, as well as contractor submittals. Also, TMCx executed the commissioning of all MEP systems to meet LEED enhanced requirements.
